Process. A Hand Book to Photography on Paper, London 1955.
REPRINT, Laser-printed, softcover, 5-1/2 x 8-1/2, 92 pages plus ads.
This book pre-dates Sutton's work on producing permanent photographs noted in Gernsheim, and his partnership with Blanquart-Evrard. After a short introduction, he expands in detail on preparing the paper negative, exposing and developing it, and then producing the salted print. He assumes "no previous photographic knowledge whatsoever" on the part of
the reader, and provides extensive formulary and step by step procedures. A valuable early treatise.
