Over 250 cameras are listed as well as numerous graphs and reproductions of leaflets, etc. beginning with an introduction in which the author assesses the impact of the invention of photography in Spain and its corresponding effect on the industry.
The bulk of the book, in which the various manufacturers and camera models are presented in chronological order, is divided into two main sections:
*Beginings to the Spanish Civil War (1839-1936) and
*From the Spanish Civil War to the present (1939-1990).
In these two chapters the reader will find references ranging from the first spanish camera, constructed in 1878, to the latest Werlisa cameras, made in 1988, when their manufacturer, Certex,S.A., went into temporary receivership.
